Friday Favorites #9

Hey friends! Happiest Friday to you! Next week is a holiday week for my kiddos. I was hoping for a quick getaway but then, life happened. You know, things like, we need a new dryer and the hot water heater has to be replaced cause it’s leaking. Those kinds of fun grown-up things that cost money. So we have to stick our money into some basic home necessities instead of a trip. That’s ok though. We can always do a few fun things locally plus we have family cruising into town on Wednesday so it’ll be non-stop around here through Saturday. Maybe a few relaxing days at home will be a good thing!

Up until this last week when my house started breaking {#adultingishard!}, I had been on a bit of Christmas decor shopping spree. I am super excited to decorate for Christmas! So excited in fact, that I almost decorated early. Almost. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it though! I love fall so much. It just feels too soon to get rid of my pumpkins. The day after Thanksgiving though? It’s ON! It’ll be a straight up winter wonderland up in my house. I’m feeling neutrals and plaid this year. I also made the cutest ticking stripe pillow covers. I have a thing for pillows. And decor. I am even decorating my master and guest rooms this year! I have always wanted to do it but haven’t. I picked up a few fun things to make them Christmasy. Thank you Pinterest and Instagram for feeding my crazy decor fire. PS – Don’t tell my husband!! #hedoesntgetit #decorcrazywife

This week, I thought I’d share some of my fall favorites with you! We are starting the transition to Christmas which feels like winter. Did you know that the official first day of winter is December 21st? December always feels like a winter month to me but I guess it’s technically still fall. Interesting fact eh?

#1 – I love this sweet entryway at Little Farmstead. Craft paper scrolls with beautifully written sentiments have become quite trendy in farmhouse decor and I have to say, I love it!

#2 – Fall leaves! Fall is my favorite. I love capturing pics of all things fall. This was my view today on my quick run to Apple Hill. #ineededthanksgivingpies

#3 – I love this front porch at Little White House. The basic wood frame as a wreath is a fun idea. I have about a million old frames that could be repurposed for fun decor like this.

#4 – The Roasted Root made these GF Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls and they have me drooling over here!

#5 – This DIY fall sign at Gingersnap Crafts is just the cutest. For some reason the idea of making my own signs is scary. I know, that’s a silly fear uh?
