Friday Favorites – July 4th Fun

Hey hey sunshine! Can you believe that June is wrapping up and that July 4th is less than a week away? Wowzer! I thought it would be fun to share a Friday Favorites – July 4th Fun edition this week. Summer is such a fun season and July 4th is always a fab party. Thank you America for letting us celebrate Y O U !

#1 – You know how I love Instagram. Tonality Designs killed it with these gussied up milkshakes. Apparently, the true phrase for these overloaded shakes is “freak-shake”. Who knew?

#2 – A few years ago, I made these little vodka soaked cherry bombs from Frosting and a Smile. Mine didn’t come out nearly as pretty as these but they were a big hit!

#3 – See Vanessa Craft created this adorable red, white and blue burlap banner. It would look great on a mantel or on a buffet table displaying all the yummy 4th of July food.

#4 – Summer is kinda known for being full of A L L  the calories. I mean, hot dogs, ice cream and cocktails are a major part of summer vocab, right? #heycalories These yummy fruit skewers at The Baby Bump Diaries would be a perfect addition to any summer BBQ.

#5 – This fun idea for 4th of July themed Tic Tac Toe is so fun! You could scoop up the X and O at Michael’s, Target, Hobby Lobby, etc. This idea was shared via Target on Pinterest.

What are you doing for the 4th? We are headed to my sister-in-law’s house at Lake Almanor for lots of lake + family time. We will play in the lake, go on the boat, kayak, go for walks, attend the sweetest small town parade, watch fireworks over the lake, play games and of course, eat W A Y  too much food and drink all the fun drinks.
