Get In My Belly – Thanksgiving Recipes
Hey friends! I’m in shock that Thanksgiving is literally just around the corner. I mean, I can almost taste the turkey, know what I’m saying? I know that when I am hosting an event, two weeks before is when I am meal planning and making my lists. So that’s why I wanted to get this post wrapped up and out the door. Then you can add any of the below yumminess to your holiday menu if you are looking for the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving Feast.
Thanksgiving is one of my most favorite days of the year. I love the time with family, eating all the good foods and just the actual act of being thankful. Are you feeling me? Plus I L O V E food. If not, they are so fun that maybe you could add one to your overflowing calendar? Make it a potluck! That’s exactly what we do and it’s a blast. Plus, it’s much easier to host that way 😉

Don’t these recipes just make you want to go and put on your stretchy pants? That’s how I’m feeling right about now. What are your favorite dishes to prepare for Thanksgiving? I know that every family has things that are sentimental to them. Things that have been served around the same tables for years upon years. I love honoring those traditions. Having these sweet things to share between families is part of what makes this holiday so special. Do you have someone in your family that has a special recipe? Something you’d love to learn how to make? Have them teach you! It’s flattering for them to know how much you love it and it will always be a fond memory for you as the years go by. I say this as I wish I’d have had my Grandma teach me how to make pies. It was her thing and she passed away when I was only 19. I wish I’d had her teach me.
