Friday Favorites #5

Happy Friday friends!! Oh, and happy September! We are officially heading into the fall season which makes my heart so happy. I know it is Friday and the start of a long holiday weekend {#grateful!} but I have a serious case of the grumpies today. Grumble. I have been trying to shake it off all morning but so far, nothing has worked. Do you ever feel that way? I call it the inside uglies. Truth be told, I think it’s a combo of PMS {I know, lame} and lack of sleep. I got out for a walk this morning but I felt like a slug. It’s already so hot {cause we are in this awful heatwave} and it’s smokey from the California fires. The quote, “Your attitude determines your direction”, keeps popping into my head. I am working on turning my frown upside down though! Seriously, if you know me then you know that I am truly full of gratitude. So in honor of shaking it off and cruising into this long weekend with a grateful heart, I am sharing my Friday faves.

#1 – This week Instacrush is Stephynow. She is a local yoga teacher and mama. I haven’t been as dedicated to yoga since summer happened and all BUT I do love her class. She is a ray of sunshine and her feed is fun + truth which honestly, are two of my favorite things.

#2 – Marc & Angel Hack Life – if you are looking for a dose of motivation and inspiration, then you will love this website. 60 Tiny Love Stories To Make You Smile is just one of the many awesome reads. Check them out, I promise that you will love it.

#3 – I love Instagram but I also love blogs. I love stories. I love truth. I love real life. Mandy at House of Rose is full of all of those things. She has 3 adorable little boys and recently adopted a beautiful little girl. She shares all of.the.things on her blog. Plus, her hub’s has his own site too, Good Financial Cents.

#4 – Dresses – I don’t wear them often but I do love how they make me feel pretty. I love the flowy fabrics and this one is perfection! The color screams summer, don’t you think?

#5 – Old barns – I love the history within the walls of an old barn. There is something that just draws me in from the moment I spot one. Plus, #barnwood, am I right? 😉
