Friday Favorites – Insta Love
Hey hey, friends! How’s everyone doin’? I feel like it’s been a hot minute since I created some fun content to share. We are still in summer mode. Well, I am! I just made a trip to Kenmore, Washington to see one of my closest and oldest friends. Jenn and I have been besties since just before we turned 16. We’ve worked many jobs together, shared clothes, commuted together, suffered loss and heartbreak together – the history and inside jokes run deep {I just turned 44 – I’ll let you do the math!}. So our friendship has stayed constant through moves and marriages and babies. It’s more like a sisterhood. So I went to stay with her and her fam for a few days. We saw Steve Miller Band in concert. It was at Chateau St. Michelle Winery. It was an outside summer concert and it dumped rain. Thank goodness for an endless supply of wine and a good sense of humor! I guess I should have packed boots cause it’s the PNW after all. Steve Miller is SO good! I know all the words and IÂ sang along. Loudly. Probably much to the dismay of everyone around me.
I thought since Friday is here – hey hey Friyay! – I’d get a little Friday Favorites post up. One of my constant faves is Instagram. Check out these lovelies that stop me in my scroll.
#1 – I was introduced to Erin from @naturallyella as we both joined up with another local gal to check out the Sacramento Antique Fair. I started following her and I was hooked! Her photos and ingredients make everything she posts sound like I M U S T eat it N O W. I actually made this recipe earlier and I will be putting it together for breakfast tomorrow. I can not wait to taste all of the flavors together.
#2 – Jenny at @momming_with_grace is authentic and raw. I get the feeling we could be great friends. She just says what she feels – and it’s the good, bad and the ugly. I love that. Authenticity is one of my favorite characteristics ever. Give me the real over the staged any day of the week.
#3 – Dave Hollis – also know as @mrdavehollis also known as the hubby of the awesome Rachel Hollis. Dave was a big time Disney exec and he straight up left his job to team up with his awesome wife and help run her biz. The two of them together are magic. Pure magic. You will laugh and be inspired all at once.
#4 – Tairalyn at @littlemissmama_ is so much stinking cute. She is the mama to two of the cutest lil’ girls and she makes everything look like it’s fun! I’ve been following her social media outlets for years and she always makes me smile. I really admire how she packs her kids for trips 😉
#5 – I ‘met’ Morgan from @charlestoncrafted last year when we both signed up for the $100 Room Makeover at Lemons, Lavendar, and Laundry. You have to check out her stories, her southern drawl is behind cute. She’s also a master at all things DIY.
I hope you had fun checking out some of my faves! Are you a fan of Instagram? Who are some of your favorites to follow? Inspire me!
