Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and if you are still unsure of what to ask for or what to give, here are a few last minute suggestions of some of my favorite gifts to give and receive.

Special jewelry. I love Sundance and Lisa Leonard for special and sentimental pieces although it might be late to order those items now, you can still get some ready to ship items which should arrive in time to give as a special gift.

Sundance Arabesque heart ring – Sundance is a long time favorite for jewelry, clothes, and shoes. I am always excited to get their catalog in the mail.

Lisa Leonard necklace – Lisa Leonard is based in California and her jewelry is the sweetest. She also just started selling a line of handbags.

Voluspa candles – I love the smell of these candles. Anthropologie always carries them but I have also found them out some local boutique stores as well. They make a perfect gift.

Gift certificates for pampering are always a favorite. I am partial to pedicures but facials or massages are always a nice idea.

Flowers or something garden related. It’s the time of year where people are making their yards pretty for summer. Succulents are quite trendy right now and make a great addition to an indoor or outdoor space.

My Mother’s Day request this year is a DIY outside buffet table and a bench. I love being outside and these are pieces that I would love to use as part of our patio decor and for entertaining. I even offered to help build these awesome pieces of furniture. Truth be told, I might have to really be bossy to make this happen 😉 Wish me luck! I see a future blog post happening.
