Favorites + Inspiration

Happy weekend sweet friends. It’s officially July. I can’t believe that another month has passed and that we are already 1/2 way through 2017. Time flies when you are having fun I suppose 😉 How’s everyone’s summer going so far? Ours is flying by! We have done some fun stuff but the days are filling up and I have a big ol’ summer fun to do list still staring me in the face.

In a recent post, I talked about how bloggers inspire me. I thought it would be fun to do a post on my favorites. There are a few bloggers that I have been following for years. I am definitely a bit diversified in my likes.

Jones Design Company is such an inspiration to me. I have followed her for years. Last summer I followed her on-line journey of traveling across the US with her family in an Airstream trailer. Guess what? She was just featured in Magnolia Journal for that story. How cool! Two of my favorites to follow collided.

The Nester. Doesn’t her name say it all? I found her years ago when she was a rental home living, design expert. Sheer inspiration. Plus she uses this blue in her decor that always pulls me in.

Magnolia Market is obviously quite the trend these days. Everything Joanna touches becomes a design inspiration. I can’t deny {nor do I want to} my love of all things Chip and Joanna. This little shack on the prairie was one of my favorite episodes. The before and after photos are pretty unreal.

Carlsbad Cravings is one of my fave food bloggers. I haven’t met a recipe of her’s that isn’t fantastic. The salsa verde honey lime pepper jack chicken enchiladas are definitely a fave.

Hi Sugarplum is filled with all.the.fun.things. I love her style, decorating expertise, brilliant organizing skills and her sassy Texan charm. She makes me laugh which is a great draw when reading a blog.

Erin from Living In Yellow is the kind of girl that I’d love to be friends with. She just seems to have fun living her life. She has great fashion sense and an adorable home.

Beth at Home Stories A to Z is a design inspiration. Her boys room makeover inspired me so many years ago when my boys were young and I still love following her blog.

Flicker Farm is a favorite but I have a confession, the owner, Nicole, has become a sweet friend of mine. I have learned some things about farm life and I am inspired by the hard work and awesome stuff that comes from Flicker Farm. Also, if you want some awesome homemade soap, check out her Etsy store.

Layla at The Lettered Cottage has the sweetest blog. She talks about everything from adoption ——> barn renovations. She seems like the nicest girl. That’s part of what is so lovely about the blog world, you feel like you have some sweet, virtual friends. It’s kinda fun and super inspiring!

The 36th Avenue is full of so many fun things but I really adore her selection of freebie printables. She is super crafty and holidays are always full of extra fun and creative posts. Prepare to be inspired.

Alicia at Allie Studio has been selling her awesome pillow covers and other hand sewed goodies at my annual vendor party for 5 years now. She is growing at warp speed these days and recently, she sold her awesome pillow covers at our local Pottery Barn. Plus she was featured on the news. I told her that she better not outgrow my party. She assured me that as long as I make crockpot meatballs, she’ll keep on coming. #deal

I find so much inspiration on-line and in person. We all have a story and it’s so fun getting to know someone’s. Where do you find inspiration?

Gabby
