Boho Style + Inspiration
As I am in the process of kicking off my own home decor + design biz, I am feeding my brain with all the various styles that happen in the world of home design. Most of us have some type of style. For me, it’s a bit of modern farmhouse. I love the simplicity of the neutrals with the mix of the old farmhouse vibe. So basically Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal. Truth? My grandparents had an old farmhouse and that is probably where my love of all things farmhouse started. Think – shiplap. Old barns are one of my favorite things ever. I just feel like there are stories to be told and well, I love me some good stories.

Another design trend is the whole boho vibe. I love this trend. It feels so light and fun. There are elements of nature with a bit if a hippy flair. Think neutrals with pops of color, fun textures, and lots of greenery. Boho almost feels like you’ve gathered things from around the world and pulled them together to create a beautifully curated space.
Bohemian style is described as a bit eclectic.

What do you think of the boho decor idea? I love that it doesn’t feel super matchy. It has a relaxed lived-in vibe that instantly makes it so welcoming. A great spot to shop for boho decor is – thrift stores! I also love World Market for their home decor. They have so many great pillows and rugs that scream boho.
