My 2019 Must Haves

Hey friends! 2019 is upon us and I have a few things I am ‘working’ on in the New Year. I am NOT calling them resolutions because often times I don’t follow through {do any of us?} and I feel like a failure. Insert sad violin music here. Any who – 2018 has been full of all.the.things. Some good, some bad and some downright ugly but one thing I know for certain, I hope to turn some of my 2018 frowns upside down in 2019. #goals

So a few things are on my list for the upcoming year and with those ‘goals’ come some stuff to help said goals be achieved. Don’t worry, I am not climbing mountains in foreign countries so you can do this with me. I might hike some hills locally though. Are you in? #hellyeah

#1 – I plan to drink more water. My Hydroflask is always with me no matter where I go. It keeps my water cold no matter the season.

#2 – I love Yin yoga and this blanket is so nice for helping ease some of the poses. Plus, if I decide I’d rather nap, I have my own blankie. Perfect!

#3 – My Breville Juicer makes somewhat rare appearances in my kitchen but it needs to show it’s face a bit more. Juices are a great way to get some ‘healthiness’ in my life.

#4 – Using a planner is a bit foreign to me. I typically make notes on my phone or in notebooks but I vow to get it together in 2019. I love this planner/journal.

#5 – Meal planning is definitely something that makes us eat better around here. I typically like to do my planning, shopping and prepping on Sundays. This list could help me get a bit more organized.

#6 – I keep saying it but I need to act. Meditation could be a game changer for this busy little mind of mine. I have a few apps on my phone but this book appeals to me too!

Obviously my health is high on my priority list. Emotional and physical health are pretty important to me and as I get older, this becomes more apparent. What are some goals that are important to you? Not just in the new year but every day?
