Friday Favorites #10

Hey there! How’s everyone’s countdown to Christmas going? Are you making your list and checking it twice? I am
A L M O S T done! Woot. I have a few things to get but Amazon will likely be my hero. My in-laws love staying at B&B’s so I usually get them a gift card to bedandbreakfast.com It’s been awhile since I shared my Friday Favorites and of course, I have several things that I really love and I love sharing my faves with my friends.

#1 – Recently, I found this cute sign vendor, Rustic Soul DESIGNS at Under the Arbor. Under the Arbor is a local store that is filled with all kinds of handmade goodies and antique pieces. I loved the sweet handmade signs. She has so many great sentiments and I might have grabbed one as a Christmas gift.

#2 – Tis the season for illness. Sad but true. It seems that so many of my friends are being taken down by nasty bugs. I am all for trying to stop the bugs before they get out of control. When I start to feel run down, I take a couple of shots of this throughout my day and I swear, it really helps! I actually just do shots and chase it with water as it’s quick and done. Some people like to drink it like tea with hot water with honey & lemon. That is too many steps for me 😉 You could also add it to orange juice which helps cut the spiciness. My friend Nicole shares the recipe on her blog, Flicker Farm.

#3 – Katie at Little House of Four is one of my favorite new discoveries. I love everything about her blog. She does these really fun dollar store makeovers including dressing up these mercury votive candle holders.

#4 – Lauren’s Latest is one of my fave food bloggers. I have followed her for years and her Instagram feed is serious business ya’ll.

#5 – I heart candles. And throw pillows. And word art. I really heart a lot of home decor things. #sorrynotsorry This yummy candle over at the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia at Target is one of my faves. I love the cardamon and vetiver scent. I am also crushing on all things galvanized lately so this had to come home with me. That’s what I told my hubby anyway 😉

What are you crushing on this week? Have you started Christmas shopping? Are you done? I just ordered a few things from Amazon. I’ll be making cookies this weekend and getting a few tins of sweet treats in the mail to family in other states. I will also deliver some treats to the neighbors. Before the full-blown sugar rush hits and everyone is tired of cookies and treats. 😉 I wrapped up the photo calendar for my inlaws but of course, I realized after the fact that I left out some pics. Bummer but oh well. Mama tried! Our social calendar is filling up. I am so grateful for this time of year and all of the extra fun and joy that it brings. I might have watched Elf 5 times already! Mostly by myself cause my family is over it but me? I love the end. I always sing loud for all to hear. Again, the fam is over me. Ha! The dog wags his tail when I sing. Dogs love unconditionally. Thank goodness cause I sound more like Mary Steenburgen than Zooy Deshanel. No joke. I hope you are having a great holiday season!
