Friday Favorites #11
Happy Friday friends! It’s been awhile since I have done a Friday Favorites post but I do love me some Fridays. Don’t you? Fridays are the kick off to the weekend. So cheers to all the fun that your weekend might hold. It’s also a long weekend with MLK day on Monday. We have my husband’s department Christmas dinner tonight. Woot! It’s at a fun tequila bar in Downtown Sacramento. Disclaimer: the last time I had margaritas made for an ugly ‘next day’ if you know what I am saying 😉 So lots of chips will be going in my belly to soak up the ‘fun’. Ha! I also get to babysit my cute nieces on Saturday so that is another reason why I must not overdo it on Friday! I don’t get out much, can you tell?
#1 – I have so many Instaloves that I could share this week but one of my most faves is Erin at Cottenstem. Now, I have to say, I love the perfection of Instagram but sometimes it can be a bit of a turn off cause it feels so forced, ya know what I am saying? So show me the real! Erin shares some real-life business up on her feed and her stories and that is what speaks to me. She keeps it real and she is just adorable!
#2 – Last week I had an awful dentist appointment {seriously – I am traumatized!} but while I was waiting, I was able to read almost all of Chip Gaines book and I L O V E D it. Chipper Gaines is an inspiration and honestly, the male perspective was so good for me cause I am living in a house of boys. There is an impulsiveness about boys/guys/men/dudes and it’s interesting to hear that play out and actually turn into some positive stuff! So if you want a little real-life inspiration, pick up Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff
#3 – With my current bathroom makeover, I am all about the galvanized decor. I was actually searching for a rustic shelf but found this cute pleated metal container at Magnolia. Yes, I ordered it!
#4 – I stumbled upon Print Little Lady Shop and this personalized family name art is just one of the many awesome prints in her shop.
#5 – Two words: Command Center! I love feeling organized and earlier this week, I shared some creative ideas on utilizing a command center to get {and keep} yourself organized.
What are you up to this weekend? I hope it’s a good one. Do something that makes you smile big!
Awesome!!

Looks so good!
