Under the Sink Kitchen Organizing
Why is it that things just seem to gather under the sink? It becomes a bit of a catch-all. At least in my kitchen, it does. I decided to take control and show that cabinet who’s boss.
My under the sink kitchen organizing started with started with clearing out the clutter, condensing cleaners, wiping everything down and then putting things back in a more orderly fashion.
I love using baskets and containers for corralling all the things. I tend to shop at Homegoods, Marshalls and TJ Maxx often. I love the variety and the prices are friendly on my wallet. I also find things at Target and Amazon quite often. I am an equal opportunity shopper. Even though I have my go to’s, I will shop anywhere.
What I did to make this space prettier and more functional:
- I lined the cabinet with liner that I bought from Lowes.
- I stashed the dog treats and dishwasher pods in clear jars from Target.
- My new sponges found a new home in clear, stackable storage containers from Marshalls.
- I corralled the cleaning supplies in a large basket from Marshalls.
- I added a shelf to make a bit more space from Marshalls.
- Paint brushes for various projects are kept in a vase that I had on hand.
- I used Command Strips to hang up the fly swatters.
- The large pitcher is for watering my plants out front where there isn’t a hose handy. The dog ate the handle so it’s not very pretty but it’s still usable.
Ta da! The final results, with room to spare.
I hope I have inspired you with my latest organizing project.
